What type of information does Goddess Gift collect?

We collect two types of information regarding our Visitors and Users:

1. Un-identified and non-identifiable information pertaining to a Visitor or un-identified User, which may be made available to us, or collected automatically via his/her use of the Services (“Non-personal Information”). Such Non-personal Information does not enable us to identify the Visitor or User from whom it was collected. The Non-personal Information collected by us mainly consists of technical and aggregated usage information, such as Visitors’ and Users’ browsing and ‘click-stream’ activity on the Services, session, referring/exit pages, date/time stamps, etc.
2. Individually identifiable information, namely information that identifies an individual or may with reasonable efforts cause the identification of an individual, or may be of private or sensitive nature (“Personal Information”). The Personal Information collected by us mainly consists of contact details (e.g., e-mail address or phone number), billing details (name, physical billing address, payment method and transaction details), which are only collected from Users with Paid Services, details regarding a browsing or usage session (Geo-location), details regarding connected third party accounts (such as the e-mail or username for a connected PayPal, Google or Facebook account), correspondences (including those made through or uploaded to our Services), and any other Personal Information provided to us by Visitors and/or Users through their access to and/or use of the Services. For the avoidance of doubt, any Non-personal Information that is connected or linked to Personal Information (for example, in order to improve the Services we offer) is deemed and treated by us as Personal Information, as long as such connection or linkage exists.

Goddess Gift collects no information that may be used to identify you individually, such as your name and email address (“personal information”) unless you provide it to sign up for a specific service such as our newsletter.  Those taking the goddess quiz must provide demographic information (age and sex only) that helps us to compare their quiz results with statistical norms so that they receive the most accurate report possible. We do not share this information in a personally identifiable format with any third party.  Occasionally we gather data in order to further validate our tests. Each visitor has the choice of submitting his/her information for validation purposes. Even in this instance, Goddess Gift never uses individual data (name, place of residence, etc.), but uses aggregated (collective) databases for purposes of test validation.  Otherwise, no records of scored tests and quizzes are kept.

We collect and store certain technical and other information about the online activities of our users on an aggregated (or collective) basis. Goddess Gift does not use this information to identify you or to match it with your testing activities. We may, however, track the number of people who view each page, and other site usage data, in order to learn which features are the most popular so we can improve our service. We also record statistical information collected on our site to better understand and serve our visitors. This information is recorded as anonymous group statistical information and is not connected to any personal information you have provided to Goddess Gift.

Depending on the specific Goddess Gift services and products for which a user registers, certain specific information will be requested. We use this additional data to personalize your Goddess Gift experience. By obtaining and using this information, We can provide you with timely, relevant, and individualized service according to your preferences and interests.

Goddess Gift Visitors’, Users’ and Users-of-Users’ names and email addresses may be maintained, processed and stored by Goddess Gift’s secure email marketing service. Other non-personal information may be maintained, processed and stored by Bluehost and their authorized affiliates in the United States, Europe, and in other jurisdictions as necessary for the proper delivery of their Services and/or as may be required by law (as further explained below). Every Goddess Gift employee understands that the privacy of our members is a top priority. Access to members’ personal information is strictly limited to our Goddess Gift Team, a small number of professionals and customer relationship employees. A customer relationship employee will handle your personal information only to respond to your communication or to better understand our audience to help with our editorial direction. The professionals on our team handle personal information when they maintain our site and email newsletters.
